advice on fittin abf loom in a mk2

I'm converted my car to abf I need info on the loom I have a mk3abf loom which has all temp sensors and lights in one loom but I still have my mk2 loom for that so I do I chop the sensors I don't need off I.e coolant temp and the socket for the lights?

I'd be wary of doing any chopping, as it may play havoc with your ecu.

thats basically all i did with help from rj

but lights can deffo come out i wouldnt cut sensor wires out tho till u deffo know what u want and what u dont want

What about the windscreen wiper part of the loom as well, doesn't that stay mk2? Have read various threads on the looms before, but never done it myself.I converted my 1.3 to run kjet so aren't using mk3 loom on my abf. Surely with labelled up looms side by side you can see what stays and what goes easily enough though?

The windsreen wiper cables will have to be extended. I've cut all the lighting out and I've put the engine in tempory just to make sure I have all that I need gunna start the engine make sure it runs and that then tidy the loom up and put it in for gd
