I am in the process of buying a mk2 gti 8v in the next few weeks, i plan to get some BBS RM wheels for it and lower it sensibly(40-50mm). I was wondering whats the largest size rim/tyre it is possible to get on a lowered GTI 8v mk2 with 15inch bbs rm's without rubbing.
does anyone know what width wheels/tyres Ben c*ckerills Mk2 VR6 has as they are bbs rm's and look the right size for what im looking for and the arches look like standard gti ones, dno if they have been flared slightly? Cheers!
This is the Golf VR6 Im on about from edition 38, does anyone think the arches are standard or flared slightly?
