Spax PSX Kit
« on: 22 September 2003, 12:10 »
Hello All,

Silly question I know but thought I'd pick your brains first!!

I'm just about to fit a PSX kit to my golf this weekend and I've only just purchased my first Vdub so quite new to it all.

Basically I'm a very competant mechanic and fitted quiet a few suspension kits on Ford's etc in the past but wondered if they're any points i should know about before I attempt this !

Cheers for any help in advance .....

Should be quite simple if you know what you are doing. Only the usual problems like rusted on fixings. The only other thing i can think of that might cause you a problem is you need a special tool to undo the slotted nut that holds the front suspension together. You can get the tool from Halfords, ' macpherson strut tool'.
