Clutch issue...
« on: 19 November 2011, 15:28 »
Box is an 02A with a hydro to cable conversion.

We took the engine and box out to fit new subframe and spray the bay, then dropped the engine/box back in and put it all back together then we found the problem. Problem is the clutch pedal is solid and the actuator doesn't move.

Took the engine out again and took the box off and it all looked OK, so we put it all back together, thinking maybe the mech had got stuck or something was jammed, I dunno! We just hoped it had fixed itself tbh.

So yeah back to where we were. Any ideas?

Can you lift the actuator with a windowmaker or something Alex? Is the fault definately on the box side? Only option I suppose if it is, is to strip the gearbox and see whats what.  :undecided:

Well actuate moves side to side and I dont want to damage anything by forcing it. It moves a little but its so minor.

Yeah its box end, the pedal end was connected up and that's pretty much it, cable moves freely.

Had the box off already and looked at it all :undecided:
