MK3 GTI wing mirror query

Hello,

Does anyone know if to replace the front drivers side wing mirror glass, do you need to replace the whole wing mirror or can the glass just be changed over? Its a electric mirror btw? is it difficult to do?

Glass will just pull out. Its easier to do with the mirror in place.

I used a long flat head screwdriver to change mine to get right behind the glass so I didn't break anything, and gently levered the glass out.
