Tapping from greencap end of gearbox
« on: 07 November 2011, 16:05 »
Any ideas folks? When the clutch pedal is pressed down, the tapping stops. When it isnt, it taps relative to the RPM (I only notice this when stationary)
Possibly release bearing? Low oil?
I'm going to check the oil tonight as I think oil may be seeping from the gasket (the smaller gasket near the end of the box), may order a new gasket too...

One of my cars did this, it was low oil in the box.
