Not been a very promising member so far - apologies we are in the process of moving house etc...
From the 16th May will prolly be offline for a couple of weeks while we sort things out...
In the meantime I spent some loving time with my GTi on Saturday, washing, hoovering, waxing
and starting to slowly but surely clean the engine and the engine bay (long job but looking forward to it - oddly)
Wanted to know how I get images onto the site as mine is gleaming at present and thought it would be a good
time to show it in it's best light...
I also have a recommendation for anyone interested - if you're Mk2 GTi has bumpers that fade faster than a
St. Tropez tan try 'Williams F1 Bumper & Trim Gel'. This stuff is fantastic, brings the bumpers up real quick as long as it's
been applied well. It's also waterproof to a certain extent (ie: doesn't last forever but doesn't wash off as soon as it rains).
Give it a go and see what you think, probably need to re-apply every 6-8 weeks but it's a 20min job...
