Hi, not completely new but haven't posted here yet!
From the south east (Kent) driving a Polo 6N2 at the moment, had a MK2 but it had to go (one thing after another went and I couldn't afford to keep having it fixed, even though I only had the cost of parts to worry about!).
Miss the MK2 like mad, even though the Polo is newer, quicker, drives better than the old Golf did, I don't think there's any better looking VW than a MK2 Golf in good condition, in red... lovely looking car all polished in the summer months!

It's actually a 1.4, but the slatted grille looked rubbish so had to put a GTi grille on, such a big improvement.
