Hello! And some MK 2 Buying advice please?!

Hello all,

I came across this forum, after feeling the need to buy a MK2 Gti. I used to have an 85 MK2 16v, with a full 90 spec conversion in Corrado purple. Lovely car and shame I had to sell it as a student.

Anyway, I am in the Manchester area, seriously considering buying  a nice MK2, preferably 16V and preferably in Oak Green.

I came across this car on ebay.

Does anyone know of this car or know if it seems a good buy? I'm seriously considering taking it.

Any thoughts from a forum of enthusiasts would be really welcome. Thanks in advance!
