My great grand dad was bowmaker to the king. My great great grand father was a master plasterer who was responsible for much of the ornate cornice work in Edinburgh.

My great great great grand father (1700's) was a Spanish Sea Captain, we have some beautiful hand written notes from him. He was a bit of lad in his day

It's apparently where I get my distinctive (read devilishly good) looks from.

I have two extra ribs and 4 nipples...

one of my good friends in school was luke chateris who is out in the welsh rugby world cup squad currently

i once had a rugby county trial and played against gavin henson (he was abit weedier in those days) i high tackled him and he had to be strechered off the pitch! ...oops!

oh yeah and i was part of a fitness video for kids with scorpion from gladiators

I used to play for 3 rugby teams. county. school. and a local team.

school was 11th best in england irland scotland and wales.

local team entered a international tornament playing teams like argentina. under 18. And other countrys teams including the south african international side. we came 2nd loosing by. a few points in a try scored in the last min. this tornament was for under 18 and under 19 teams. we were under 17's. so most of us were 16 playing 18/19/20 year olds

Also when you ggo into u17s the rules change. ie lifting in lineouts. being able to come around the acrum ect. the first match in that tornament was the firat time we had played a proper game with those rules. also we almost got banned cause the rules were every team member had to be in there room by 11 and asleep by 12. We would be out drinking and having bbqs til 4am and had to get up at 7 to set off for the tournament were as the other tteams would be going to sleep at tenish

My granddad researched/designed and built a machine that is used to break down any substance to it's chemical components.
It was originally called the Plasma Quad and he got a Queens Award for Technology for it.
The rights to it were bought by a company and the latest generations of it are what you see in the CSI labs on TV analysing substances (mass spectroscopy).
