My car runs so much better on 95 ron than 99 ron, although I told the guy I prefer to use super unleaded. On 95 ron its so much smoother, but if I fill up on 99 ron the boost is all over the place. Any ideas?  :undecided: It doesnt bother, just wonder why it does it?

On REVO stage 2, guy done some adjustments when thew car was on the rolling road via the SPS.

Cheers

you sometimes might not notice a difference between 95 to 99, or using 97, but it certainly helps the engine by clearing out some sh!te

ive used v power once, cant say i noticed a difference, but it certainly lasted me longer

my ibiza 20vt with r-tech custom map works better with v power, i've used bp and tesco, bp made it feel a bit flat, tesco was better, with v power crisper, better on fuel too! Never used 95 with ibiza, just sold vrs octy with generic r-tech and that had 95/97/99 felt sharper on 99, but wife didn't ever push it hard enough to benifit the v-power!

There was a test on fifth gear a few years back testing different RON fuels in different types of cars and it made no difference in NA small engine cars but performance cars and especially turbocharged cars gained loads with v power. There was a mk5 gti on test if I remember right.

The video will prob be on YouTube I would think

what octane rated fuel were they factory mapped for? My guess is 95 so any higher won't make a difference. The Impreza pretty much proves this theory
