Thanks R-tech
« on: 24 September 2011, 18:26 »
Just got back from my 300 mile odd round trip.
Had a very fun journey home to say the least
Cars totally transformed, even from the stage 1 that was on it previously
Managed to scare a fair few people with the massive bangs as well haha.

Anyway thanks for your service and help, particularly with the spring and the lambda sensor
(We won't mention the wheel incident ;) i'm just waiting for a text back from the guy, ill let you know whats going on monday when he's been)

Hello,

Glad you got home safe and sound and had a some fun aswell..lol  Have you learnt how to master all the map addons yet? Ie Launch control or even the wot gear shift you was worried about trying to do.

Thank you for your custom and feedback, any problems or question you got our number.

As for wheel.. The last time I drove into that parking space in the work shop was about 2 years ago I seems the wall has moved since..Honest!!     Keep me updated let me know what it costs to touch it up or what the other guy says.

Yea i had a play, mastered the gear shifting... although i'm not gonna lie i spent more time making it bang than changing gear without lifting off haha
I've sent pics of the wheel to the bloke, he's coming monday to get them so will let you know how much he knocks me down by.
Also, i'd love to blame the wall but unfortunately last time i tried talking to a wall i didn't get much of a reply so i'm gonna have to rely on you unfortunately :p

Hey nick, question for you if you see this. engine light popped on tonight, i'd left the car idling for quite a while.
get the feeling its cos of the EGR delete as leaving it to idle did that before, did you end up deleting the software for that?
My mates got a scanner so ill get it plugged in

Looks like i may be going down the single mass flywheel route afterall, pinning it in 4th my clutch slips sometimes :(

The mapping dct switches for all your stage2 mods have been set to zeros to stop stored codes or the MIL comming on on the dash, there is a way to stop all fault codes and lights full stop but I dont work this way as if you have major issues then there is know way of knowing whats going on.  It sounds like a dct realted to adaptions / rediness based on air flow calculations unique to your setup, if you can get me the exact P code I will have a look into doing a patch and get Ben to flash the patch on to your ecu at your home or work address.   Sometimes it can take a day or week to get this sort of code to crop up, if it had cropped up here I could have looked in to it and sorted it.

Are you sure it aint a low fuel warning....PMSL   :embarassed:
