Personalised Plates
« on: 01 October 2011, 19:03 »
I'm buying a personalised plate however I hardly want the 'new-reg.com' at the bottom of it.

Do VW sell official plates? Also, I bought mine with VW finance (hire to purchase), I am allowed to have a personalised plate, right?

There are are plenty of companies that will make plates to say anything you like at the bottom.  Im sure you can put a private reg on your car being finance but its best to check with them as I don't know your terms.

Just get you local dealer to make them.

Have you checked the price or see if the plate is available direct from the dvla.

If your car is on finance, you should notify the finance company of the plate change where they could be an admin "charge" to update the system accordingly.
