Thinking of buying vag com reader between me and me mate. :rolleyes:

I have seen this on egay, will this be suitable for our cars?

we both have mk3 golf gti 8v 95 and 96. (ady)
do we have obd2 or obd1?

how do i find out which one i have? obd1 or 2?
or does this machine cater for both? :undecided:

You will have OBD II. OBD I is on older cars, Mk1 & 2 etc. I think anything Vag from 89/90 onwards is OBD II. Think it says on the EGay ad, as thats the one I bought. As said, spot on for the money and well worth it!
