FULL BOOST :S

i have a 1999 1.8t agu it has a fmic, k03s, miltek turbo back, samco tip, forge 007p, induction kit and a stage 1 map from rtech...it has been running perfect for ages but yesterday it has just gone physco in stead of boosting the usuall 16psi its going up to 22psi and dumping like hell dont get me wrong it feels f**king amazing but im scared to go any where near boost incase i f**k my internals or anything, is this just due to my actuator being f*cked?

if its jammed shut perhaps, i'd check the n75 hoses as a first step though.

Maf - N75 or split actuator feed pipe split somewhere between top hard pipe and actual actuator nippple.

just checked the n75 hoses and what do you know one has gone and snapped, cheers buddy, was fun for the 1 night though had a little play down a private runway with an s3 killed it and he said after its running around 260 bhp so was amusing but gunna be safe and replace the hose i think :L

Glad you sorted it... its fun having a bot more boost but the killer can be not having enough fuel to keep the combustion rich enough.  If you want some more boost pop down and we can dial a little more in and log it with the fuel.

yeah im meaning to come up for another map the "stage 2" kind, that little bit of fun has me addicted i need more boost in my life lol i almost dont want to put the pipe back on :L but this little dial up sounds abit fun, im the one you came down to weston super mare to do stage 1 on around october last year, that smile came back last night that i got from when it first got stage 1 i want it perminantly lol the guy in the s3s face was classic shame i wont be keeping up with anything liek that anytime soon :L maybe i need to try and be some tuning companys guinie pig :L

I remember black on on your drive way?  Your k03 made 200+bhp on another tuners dyno?

yeah :L yeah at tsr performance downhere in the southwest it made 204bhp 199lb of tourqe with your map, forge 007p, cone filter and a turbo back miltek exhaust, got samco tip now, cold airfeed, k03s and i brought a big fmic off dan from up by you that used to haver the s3'd 4motion golf, i came down to rtech after collecting it from him as it was so close but u had just shut :L il be up soon what sort of price am i looking at for a custom map? haha i will do been wanting it rolling roaded by you for ages, kinda wish i could of had it rr'd just after tsr to see what your dyno said
