How much play should there be in vr6 brake pedal?
« on: 13 September 2011, 10:52 »
I got my mechanic to replace my pads and change my brake fluid.
I thought my pedal would be slightly firmer as I've always felt there's quite a lot of travel, if anything it's worse. The brakes are really good when they connect but just a little too spongey.

Will I manage to bleed them through a set of audi tt 6 spoke ronals?

Bleed them through the back.If they have'nt been bled for a while i would be taking the wheels off one at a time and heating up the bleed nipples before i undid them.If you snap one you got yourself in a big hole .

Gunson eezibleed would be handy.

Take it back to your mechanic and make him do the job properly!

Have you given enough time for the pads to bed in? usually need about 100 miles.
