Newbie with '89 Mk 2 Golf 1.3 to sell/dispose of, advice please

Hello, i'd like some advice please:

I am the original "one lady owner" of a Mk II Golf 1.3, G reg ('89), had it from new since I was 17 and driven regularly until child 2 arrived in 2005. Since then it's sat on the drive. Around 85,000 miles on clock and the odd rust spot. Red (faded) with sporty trim, alloys and white go faster stripes!

I need to sell or dispose of it, it's taken me this long to come round to the idea of doing so. I've no idea how it'd get on in an MOT. The battery is flat as a pancake.

Should I just scrap it? (V sad). Is there an ads page on this site (or elsewhere)? Any input very welcome.

Really this needs pictures, a bit more of a history, a location and rough price you would want for it.

As said, if you put some pics up then it's easier to get a better idea of what you have....  sounds good though.  :cool:

Defo keep it, One lady owner from new !! You can easyily fit two kids in the back ?? haha. Anyway if you get rid of it om only near Maldon, so il have it ;)

Welcome, if you can keep it for now do so otherwise sell it to an enthusiast or a motoring museum.
