Hella twin headlight bulbs
« on: 15 September 2011, 09:05 »
Hi,

My VR6 has come with Hella twin headlights with the outer lights being projectors. I'd like to know what size bulbs are fitted to them, I think the inner lights are H1 ?

Cheers

Baz

The projectors (dipped beam) are H1's and the high beam's are H3's.

Osram Nightbreakers work well

I have brand new H1's and H3's in my garage, they are the extreme version so you can see the craters on the moon brightness!  My garage is like Aladins cave

Just fitted some H1 nightbreakers. Just need some LED sidelight bulbs now, pretty sure I've got some in the garage somewhere ?

You can get them on ebay cheaply, bayonet fitting.I found them to be a bit dim because of the dim/dip on the GTi models.
