My dad was a firefighter in London, they got shown the footage of the FDNY making the documentary in the twin towers when the plane hit. Was such a weird coincidence.
Then all of a sudden you hear all these thudding noises, and it's bodies hitting the floor
Was that footage ever released to the public? I don't remember seeing it anywhere on TV.

It was shown once IIRC, never to be seen again by the general public with good reason

I remember watching the second plane hit the tower live on TV with my mate round his parents, didn't want to do anything after seeing that

I remember I was on my way home from school, someone said something about it and I joined about 20 people watching the footage on the TVs in the window of an electronics shop.
Was sickening.

I was 10 at the time, and my mum and I didn't know about it until late evening. We walked past an electronics shop with the news on the and they were showing the planes hit the towers. My mum thought it was a film and walked on. When we got home my grandma called and told us about it
