Ticking Cat on Mk3 Vento GL

Evening Guys,

Bought a great Mk3 Vento GL on Friday, only a few things,

One of them being a ticking cat? This has been noted on one of the repair notes as an observation,

Unfortunately i'm clueless when it comes to these things, had a look around and don't seem to find the answer i need,

1. Is this a major problem, will it be detrimental to the engine?

2. Is it an easy fix?

Yes easy to sort, replace the cat or decat it.
