Indicator bulb housings
« on: 30 September 2003, 15:15 »
Ok, slowly getting through my list of probs.

Thought I'd do an easy one, non working front indicator.

I took out the indicator unit and checked the the bulb to find it was fine, so it looks like a loose connection or broken wire, wiggling the wires will make the unit work.

I wanted to get to the terminal connection in the bulb holder but these are covered in some sort of resin or gel.

Can I remove this stuff to check the connections, and if so what can I use to re-seal the bulb holder when I'm finished?

The best bet is to buy a new wiring loom for the indicator, Its fairly cheap. and just unplugs.
