yer the mk4's are about 100kg's lighter so better power/weight ratio with a re-map plus the mk4's hav slightly more torque over the standard 153bhp so will once re-map'd aswell compared to the 210bhp i imagine

Down to the driver end of the day.

Mates Berlingo 1.9HDI is pretty nippy, had that in a genuinely private road in a straight line in my 1.6 just to see what was quicker as you do when you're 18/17. Van is quicker but he kept pulling away then as we all know diesel torque is down low and runs out of revs so I had him.

Swapped vehicles and I had him in the van changing up earlier and keeping on boost.

Yeah OK, I'm just  bragging but meh.
