mrk 3 central lockin pump

my central locking pump is making a crazy noise when activated and its not looking down the doors ,could it be a hole in the pipe or knacked ..........................anyhelp

Check all the vacuum pipes you can find, get a mate to lock and unlock the doors while you clamber about inside to see if you can trace the problem.  Pay particular attention to the petrol flap lock and where the pipes pass through rubber boots such as the boot and door jams.
