hello all
« on: 07 August 2011, 22:16 »
Hello,

Have been a lurking member on here for a while now and occasionally post on UKMKIV's

I have a MK4 1.8T 180 GTI bought as a standard car in October 2009 with far from run in 36,000 miles and 1 previous owner purchased from a vauxhall dealership after I went there to look at a 2.0 turbo astra coupe. I didn't even sit in the astra after test driving the golf

Had a rough ride for the first 6 months with various sensors failing and the clutch & flywheel going but has been super reliable since spending a small fortune on parts.

Was mapped by R-Tech last October and made 233bhp & 270 ft-lb when last dyno'ed - it goes alright

1.8T AUQ - 241bhp & 286 ft-lb
