Hi, new to the forum, from the cambridge area, on here on behalf of the mrs lol, im a megane r26 owner :) allthough am impressed with the golf its nice, wev just got her a 2001 black gti, 3 door. 1st things 1st got it home and up on a ramp at work, all looks ok, slight wear in rear bushes but no excessive movement yet so thatl wait lol. A couple of problems though is the nsf window does not work, seems common problem i beleive its the reg so will be fitting a repair kit soon.

No mods as of yet, other than i tinted the windows today (im a tinter/mechanic/detailer by the way :) but planning on a air filter and recirc valve as she wants to hear the turbo more, lol! Then maybe a few subtle mods but nothing serious, maybe a remap, best place for this?

Also if anyone has a gti boot spoiler we would be interested

Freshly tinted....

Welcome, nice car... Get yourself down to the MK4 section if you haven't already as they may be able to help you with your issues.
