i'm sorry to say it but i think they are well within thier rights to do what they have done. they do allow the wheels to be fitted to golfs, which is what they are being sold for, but just not with the set up you have. looking at your project section you're having to have quite alot of arch work done to get them to fit how you wanted anyway so i don't think they are solely to blame for the problem.

i agree they could have been a bit more helpfull in regards to re-funds etc but you have to see it from their point of view, if you returned the adaptors to them having been fitted, outside of the 30 day period then legaly they don't have to do anything.

The reason i am having arch work done is because the adaptors that do allow you to fit porsche 8" wheels on the rear need to be 30mm wide. However the ones vwspeed supplied were only 20mm wide - hence did not fit

Plus there is nothing in the law stating a 30 day refund period. Also they out right refused to refund me on an unopened un used box in perfect resaleable condition.

i wouldn't use them because when ever i've looked at their website it always looks crap!!!

i wasn't having a go at you by saying you were having to have the arch work done so i hope you didn't take it that way.

all i was trying to do was state that the adaptors they sell do make porsche wheels fit golfs, so i don't think you can do them on false advertising, other people with different set ups can get away with it, just unfortunately for you the set up you have doesn't allow this. which is why you had to buy the wider adaptors.

i'm not up on the law as you seemed to have checked this out, but i always thought it was at the companys discretion for their return period so sorry if i got that part wrong. in which case i'd pursue it further if you feel you have a case.
