I have recently put a CAI on my car and it sounds like this

Doesnt sound right to me it sounds more like a flutter than a psssst if that makes sense.  Everything standard apart from the cai.  Is this just the normal sound?

Your dump valve is split most likely causing your turbo to stall etc so making that flutter noise. Get a forge 007p as the standard dv's are prone to breaking.

Yeah its on the list to get one of them, will have a look tomorrow as it doesnt feel like its losing power

Mine was the Same until i put the 007p on and it sorts the problem. Once the 007p is on its more like a pssshhhh.... mine did not sound as bad though but then again te car is only at 68 000 miles so my stock dv might not have been too far gone.

yeah mine at 89 now so im presuming its still on original, worth getting one anyway.  Although im only 15 min away from awesome gti I dont think I can go there just for a 007p.  I may come home with a remap too

Yeah opposite way around from me, but I think I would prefer to be closer to r tech but it doesn't justify the travel for me

was well worth the drive thou grant     fun comin home!!! (its more than 2 hours btw   )

hey we must meet up and i got that paint still, would say this weekend but we go to go back down to cornwall for sunday as we could not skydive cause of the weather and they could not refund us but only rebook us for another day
