Hey I'm new to the site and looking to solve a problem with my cabriolet.

As in the title really. The motors gone for the roof, now due to lack of funds mainly I'd just like to know if you can bring the roof down manually? When i try it the roof comes up a bit but stops about a quarter of the way back and obviously I don't want to force it

Appreciate any help

Yes but you need to open the bleed screw on the pump 1st.

Brilliant, thanks for that. As I'm kind of new to the convertible thing... where about do I get access to the pump?

I think it is on the pass side in the boot corner.

Also put a container under the screw to catch any fluid.
