My 16v driving in town gives me about 260-280 miles to a tank where as last week with doing a load of decent runs on the motorway and dual carriage ways i managed a new personal record of 370 miles on a full tank which i was rather pleased with tbh.

just found it's an 8 valver, is this a more reliable engine than the 16v??

Both are reliable lumps as long as they've been cared for a serviced regularly.

Right, i've decided, this is staying on the road and my 1400 is possibly going to the resting place in the sky, unless anyone fancies it, i'll post some pictures of the 1400 shortly
