New member..150 GTI remap

Hi

New to the site just bought a Golf GTI 150T  ugrade from the 1.6 SE

Really thinking of getting it remapped from 150 to 192bhp but have heard it can make the engine blow after about 20 or 30 thousand miles because of the extra stress?

It is a mk4 2003 with 40,000 miles and one lady owner  before I had it so it is in great nick, would a remap really be that much stress on that new a car?

It won't blow up if and if mapped correctly you'll see more BHP ( )

mine was remapped at 130k still pulling strong just keep up with services etc
