I was told it crystallises in your stomach and you get drunk again by drinking water the next day... I was still pissed the next morning form all the other booze so can't vouch for that, probably an urban myth to make it seem hard core.

I believe it's ouzo that has this effect on you. But it's entirely possible that you were just still drunk the next morning. And yes, the proper stuff is hallucagenic. Believe me, I know
