Bleeding the brakes after fitting a new ABS unit.

Hey all,
My new ABS unit should arrive today. How do i go about bleeding the system up? I've heard about using a vagcom, but not really sure. I just have the basic Vagcom for checing for faults.
Can anyone advise?
