Not got a scooby mate, but I can't rate black diamond from personal experience and friends experience. My mates had there brakes crack, they couldn't get my brake hoses right after two attempts, advertised them as mk4 kits, all the fitments where for mk3 on both occasions.

Why not just go single mass flywheel and a sachs vr6 clutch?

Awesome GTI do a ECS kit, which is a g60 flywheel lightened to 14lb and this has been confirmed by myself, or they do a heavier version at 21lb so its weighs similar to the standard dual mass. It comes with all bolts bearings and a sachs clutch.

I have had this kit about the year and very chuffed, it doesn't ruin the daily drive as everyone says with such a light flywheel so don't be put off.

Otherwise there's a few threads around with part numbers where you can buy the flywheel and standard g60 flywheel with sachs kit for a cheaper price. All depends what you are after.

I was just looking at that and the price isn't that bad either. Think I'll get that one if you have had no problems with it. I've had a re map and I'm Slipping and loosing power because of it so I'm hopeing it sorts things out.
How much did your garage charge you to fit it?

Around 100-120 if I recall correctly, beats the dual mass setup in price. Plus the vr6 clutches are known to hold upto 260bhp+260lb quite well.

Hi,

This kit is for a 5 speed gear box, what options are there for a 6 seed box, I looked on the awesome Gti site but didn't see any.

Regards
