anybody have any jints or tips in regards to them?? i have to sit on tomorrow.

the company who is doing the test is SHL.

i already know that you must read the extract of the text given before reading the question.

ive done a test last night not under test conditions and i managed 23 out of 30. i have to be in the 30 percential to pass, not sure what that means.

any help is greatly appreciated

thank you

You need to get around 10/30 in test conditions to pass.

Just did that test.  As always, its about logic.

Read the question.  Lean the facts presented in the example, and then apply them to the question. Simple.

Do not do, What if's, or if maybes. No guesses!

Only answer based on the facts!!

yeah I'd have though you have to be in the top 30% so depends on the scores the other people get.

If you want to practice check out some logic puzzles

basically read then re-read the statement and work it out from there.

thanks guys

i will be attempting the test after work. having got 23 out of 30 in not ideal conditions im not as nervous as i was.

will it be based on the job i am applying for?? some people i have spoken to had tailor made questions.
its a legal job applied for so not sure if i will have to interpret statute or will it be the kinds of tests i have practiced.

got to go in for a verification test

then a 40 min written assessment and after that a half hour competency based interview.

after all this, if i pass i will then go to meet the actual company for another interview!!

so much effort... but hey least it im getting calls back rather than not even a reply
