Earth the boot popper to the tailgate
Run a fused posi feed to the switch
Run a single cable to the back of the car on the switched side of the switch
Connect to the posi side of your boot popper.
Press the button and look cool

if the rear wiper is removed can you use the wiper stalk to pop the boot?
actually might be a bit daft if you knock it accidentally when driving!
