Poorboys black hole
« on: 17 June 2011, 19:46 »
Any good? Im using Autoglym deep shine at the minute which seems quite good. Has anyone used the Poorboys black hole?

I tried the Poorboys wheel sealant and found that crap so im a bit reluctant to splash out on something that could be no good.

Thanks  :nerd:

Sorry,im talking like all the detailing geeks

Last stage protection= LSP which means wax or a sealant like Jet seal 109

So if you were to use Poor boys black hole, you would use it after a polish as it is just a glaze with extra fillers in to cover up swirls and give it a bit more depth. Then after the PB BH you should go over it with a nice wax.

I say get poorboys white diamond. Gives slightly more metallic flake pop, dries better and doesnt stain the area you applyed the polish over. Dont be fooled by light and dark paints only products.

Black hole and white diamond are both swirl fillers and way easier to buff off than autogylm stuff which is another good 'off the shelf' swirl filler.

As a sealant im using Chemical guys wet look sealant. Its good but not that forgiving. Miss a bit and it shows up.

You only need a thin layer of each product.

Also wash them microfibre's for good results. Any dark stains will shift better

Im sure waxamomo can sort these products out for you

It's good, but take a look at Prima Amigo as a less well known, but better (IMO) equivelant :)

CYC and Shiearama sell it from memory.
