Ouch! :shocked: glad he got a good one, hope he gets something out of the court.
As said, no V5=no sale, not worth the hastle.
Currently pootling around in our family wagen, a Tiguan SEL 😂

thats a sh1tty story.. i know I wouldnt have let them take the car though. Woudl have started ripping the engine out myself (and i can hardly wire a plug :lipsrsealed:)

bought  a few without v5's 

yup it's a risk  they've just got to be cheep enough to make it worth the risk,   did have the cop shop turn up to inpund one one them once but it had allready been take to bits, 

they left with a body shell and an engine block 
all the VW's have gone bar 1.
