how do i adjust the cable on the callipers ?? the levers were sticky but have now freed em n handbrake still doesnt work help !!! m.o.t is imminent

handbrake problem vr6 please help ,, i have adjusted cable on handbrake lever and also freed up the levers on the callipers which were sticking and still have no handbrake , is this a common fault ??? and how do i get it working again ??? any help would be appreciated

Does the foot brake lock both rear wheels? pads could be stuck.
Or calipers could of failed, although its unusual for both to fail at the same time.

thats a thought , sounds like calliper failure to me as when braking hard at high speed the back end of the car moves side to side , my 1st vw , and probably my last , give me a beemer anyday
