Pcv valve

Just bought a new one from dealers, but I can blow through it slightly, thought this was a check valve?

It's a one way check valve.

So can you blow through i both ways? If so, you probably knackered it...
i don't think they have to deal with too much pressure.

I ain't done jack, straight out of tge packet from vw, it is only a little bit,

i bought a new one just last week from an audi dealership. i tried blowing and mine only let air through 1 way. not even a little passed the other direction. paid £7 ish

Do you guys keep the PCV when fitting a catch can or get rid of it?

Well, there are several ways to fit a catch tank to the breather system. Some leave the PCV in situ, others modify the entire breather system. I was wondering which route R-tech took, do they scrap that valve?
