My car has an aftermarket Hawk remote locking system, as fitted by the previous owner. I asked him where the wiring is and where the module is in case I had any problems, so I know briefly where/how its fitted. But its pretty quiet and if I press the button to lock it from a distance I can't tell if its locked unless I see the pins go down, so I want the indis to flash when I press the button. Does anyone know how I go about this? I guess I'd just tap into the live feed from the module to one of the motors (its not a vacuum system like the VW one) to the hazard light switch? Is it that simple?

The alarm control box should have a spare wire that you connect or bridge into the wiring as required.

If not I not sure what you would need to do.

It hasn't actually got an alarm, but the fob has a button for it. I'l have a looksie at the module thats under the centre console later and see whats what. I'd imagine there will be a spare wire or 2, but I just don't want the hazards to be flashing none stop when I press the lock button

Right then, it has a little red wire that comes off the module, put my multimeter on it, and no matter what, it never has power coming out of it. I tried running a wire to the correct plug on the hazard light switch from the motor wires but thats a no-go, as the 2 wires swap 12v when the car is locked/unlocked. So I can't see a way to make it possible :(
