Quick Editing
« on: 12 May 2011, 13:36 »
Right I went to india last summer and need to actually get round to editing the pics, are there any quick editing software packages out there as I have never really strayed from photoshop. I dont really fancy doing 400+ photos on photoshop on a 4 year old laptop.

Set up a task to do what you want and set it going. I.E if all photos need a contrast boost, a tweak to the satuaration and a resize for net upload you can do it to one, record it and then set PS off doing the rest while you sleep.

I do most of my basic edits in Camera Raw through Adobe Bridge, it's a lot quicker than Photoshop. You can load a whole set, sort them, get rid of the ones not worth editing and just do the simple edits there and then.
It won't do resizing or layers but it will do all the normal colour/saturation/contrast balancing, cropping, straightning, red eye, spot removal, grad filter, vignetting, etc.
