I'm amazed at this thread as I have this wheel and i thinks it's brilliant for the money.

The Mrs bought me this along with the x-rocker chair and as a combo their brilliant.
The wheel has these extention thingys that sort of wrap round your thighs to hold it in place and my pedals stay put and don't go for a walk.

How were you using the wheel and pedals? Reason i ask is maybe the way I would be sitting on my gaming chair the wheel is just before my knees so no knoicking into your b*llocks when turning the wheel, the wheel is small which is better in my opinion so you don;t hit your thighs or nads.

Maybe my pedals don;t move as I have them on laminate flooring and my legs are more or less straight as though your in an F1 car if you get what I mean.

For the price I think this is an excellent wheel and would recommend it for th price.

For anyone thinking of getting it, why not get it try it out for yourselves and then if you don't like it give it back to Argos within the 16 days or whatever it is. I'd deffo say your try it befor buying a dearer one that does the same thing.

Ok ok I did enjoy the wheel, its just that I got through 2 in 3 days cos of the poor build quality, but at £30 I dont suppose I can complain too much.

I was sitting on the sofa playing it which isnt ideal either,I just found that the pedals were so light that moving my foot caused the whole unit to move across the floor.

Having said that, I considered getting another one when I get paid on friday.

The floor you put the pedals on is it carpeted or some kind of wood type flooring? As mine stay put, I would've thought with you sitting on the sofa and putting pressure on the pedals from above the force would keep it in place.
I thought i'd have problems with mine moving because i'm sitting at an angle where i'd end up pushing them forward but they seem to stay put, maybe i'm just jammy

2 in 3 days is alot, the build seems quite rigid maybe I don't tug it enough, the steering wheels that is.

Give it another whirl mate as IMO it's quite worth the money being so cheap.

If you got some space for it then i'd deffo for sure recommend the X-rocker gaming chair, it's awesome, the sound is amazing as it's 2.1 so has 2 speakers either side of your ears at the top of the chair and a sub in the back on the chair. Tesco got it on offer at the minute at £80 I think. Remember that it's foldable so can store away after use although it's still quite big even when folded and very heavy.

Well I bagged myself a near mint MS wheel on eBay for £45 yesterday and it's flipping awesome! Need to set up a mount though as using it on your lap is pretty tricky.

Small table and a seat out of a car works damn well for me. Helps having a decent size tv too.
