hello all, new boy here. whats the best mkIV to get?

Hi, i have decided to come over to the dark side so to speak having owned pugs for the last 8 years.

my gti6 205 has just blown a head gasket and im done trying to keep here running and have always had a thing for the golf, and a golf turbo sound even better.

i havent yet bought a car (waiting for a payout from work at the end of the month) but have been shopping around and have decided on the agu engined gti. ( i owned a audi a4 with the same lump in it i do believe).

my question is what car did this engine come in? is it basically any mk4 turbo? i understand there is 3 types of mk4? the 180 the 150 and the 2.0 na. is that correct?

any help and pointers would be grately appreciated.

well after a bit of reading up  :embarassed: i figured its either the agu or better the aum engine.

or if funds allow the aqu? 180 engine.

either way i will have one very soon.
