£45 full service ? yes please

booked my car in for a full service this friday morning , did it through the "good garage scheme" vrs in coventry was my nearest place and was £45 online price, the groupon value is £149.00 , bargain? id like to think so  :grin:

google "good car scheme" then click under services, my cars a 1.8t and the service cover's upto a 2ltr, the place i booked it in with is vrs as i know there a reputable garage plus you can leave the car with them and watch them working on your car from home via there live webcam ;)

bloody hell that's cheap! won't be genuine vw parts but at that price who cares. What do you get for your 45 buck? Just oil & filter or do they do the air filter and cabin filter too?

after speaking to them on the phone this morning and bookin it in they claim to do the service to dealer spec , so yeh they use genuine part's or so they say  :undecided:, the service voucher just say's "car service with oil and fluid change" but the original price is meant to be £149.00 so im assuming they do all the filter's aswell? only reason i booked it in was mainly because my car's due an oil and filter change and as iv allways had it done via a garage for the reciept to add to the history of the car this alone costs £41 plus my service light is on which they will obv take of and also stamp the book so its a win win deal lol
