New VW - Service/Technical Manual
« on: 18 July 2011, 20:44 »
Hi all, have finally got rid of the Micra, and got a brand new Fox, which we are enjoying a lot! Temporarily had a new Polo 1.4 SE as a loan car, which was not nearly as nice as the fox, even though its nearly double the price!

Anyway, my question is whether anyone knows where i can get a service manual for the fox, as Haynes dont do a manual. Perhaps one that the VW service department use?

Thanks

The only way you will be able to get hold of one is by actually contacting VW head office and seeing if they will send you one that they use in a garage. I am a tech for vw and we dont use mauals in the form of books anymore, it is all download to a computer so you might not be in luck, it wouldnt suprise me if they dont do a book manual.

Long shot but do Bentley Publishing do one? They do a lot of newer Volkswagens as well as the older stuff. Worth their weight in gold.
