spark and fuel pump

Ok so my car hasn’t started for a few days now replaced the dizzy the coil and the amp unit because the rac said there was no spark. Now the fuel pump doesn’t sound like it is coming on and the car still aint starting can anyone help me with info on how the fuel pump works and how it turns on and off thanks xx

have you checked the coil pack? as the coil pack provides the spark and if the fuel pump dont work then the battery has died due to trying to start the car up. check your relays aswel

He's changed the coil. Was among the first things he changed.

You'll know if the pump is priming as you'll hear it when you put the key in the ignition, can you hear it do that? No battery would mean no lights on the dash either

If the fuel pump is not priming or running then the fuel pump relay could have failed.

ok i got it to turn on but a the wire from the fuse box to the pump has gone so need to re wire it up and see how it go's fun fun fun
