Fitting Rage Buckets To The MK2 Golf?
« on: 29 March 2005, 01:52 »
Ok ive got myself a set of Rage bucket seats to go in my MK2 golf which came with universal subframes. The subframes seem to be totally wrong for the MK2 golf though and the only bolt in 2 places rather than the 4 i would expect. do i need to get custom subframes or is there another way of mounting the seats into the car?

thanks. bunter

universal subframes rarely work, you'll either have to buy specific ones for your golf or butcher an old pair of seats and get someone to weld up a subframe for you. all you'd need is the mounting points from the old set and a corresponding piece to fit them to the seat base.
