Pressure sender on cylinder head

When i unscrewed the pressure sender on the side of the head the threads were flattened and the new one wouldnt screw in? What do i do? :cry:

Got a set ill giv it a try if it doesnt work i may be looking at a new head

I would be carefull with a tap a die, you could get swarf going where you don't want it.

A helicoil would be a better bet.
