hi guys my AUG gearbox will be going for a rebuild shortly and im after a taller 5th gear to bring down motorway cruising rpm.
the box is on a 16v kr engine and at 80mph is at 4000rpm iirc.
could anyone give me details of a taller 5th gear i.e ratio and box it comes and from, and part no if possible so when i go to the gearbox specialist i can give him exact details
i have searched on club gti but its abit confusing with all the different applications
