Hi i am new on here and have a problem hence why i was looking at for a forum.
I drove a H Reg golf for years and had no problems. After a few years with a volvo have returned to the golf and the electrics seem a bit dodgy?
A few months ago, they key fob stopped working and the internal lights etc - this was luckily easy remedied by changing a fuse.
My rear passenger door driver side has stopped working on the central locking, its is stuck in a locked position. When i try to unlock with key fob it comes up about quarter of the way and goes back down. It wont open with the handle from the inside or out. I have the child lock activated on it.
Any help would be appreciated. I have no idea with cars but managed to find out what was wrong first time and fix it by searching on forums and following hints and tips. Would like to at least try this again. there is a VW dealer close to us but they are quite pricey.
